TNAI,Kerala invites applications for the media awards for the articles  published on Nursing  in the English / Malayalam newspapers in Kerala.

The award is for publishing or broadcasting  Nursing-related topics between 1 April 2024 and March 31 2025. The award consists of Rs 10,000 for each category along with certificate of appreciation and shield. The same will be  awarded by the chief guest in the 57th State conference of TNAI Kerala  in  the first week of May  2025 at  Kottayam.  If the name is not added to the report, a testimonial letter from the institution head should be added.Journalists applying for the award should send a copy of the article/report, or  video of the same with necessary details to Prof. Renu Susan Thomas, President, Trained Nurses Association of India, Kerala , Principal, Welcare College of Nursing, Ernakulam, Pin – 682314 on or before April 24 2025

There will be Free Paper Presentations as part of TNAI State Annual Conference at Kottayam on May 2^nd 2025. The last date for receiving abstract for scientific papers will be 24th April 2025. The abstract should consist of 500 words preferably in IMRAD format. There can be papers related to any area of nursing specialties.

Oral presentation guidelines

1. The scientific paper presentation is for 10 minutes (8-minute presentation and 2-minute discussion). 

2. A reminder bell will be given at 5th minute and final bell at 8th minute.

3. The PowerPoint presentation should be handed over to the volunteers at registration desk on the day of the conference before 09.00 am

4. The first slide of your Power Point presentation should include title of the presentation, name and designation of presenting and co-authors.

5. The presentation slot is confirmed only after your registration

Poster presentation guidelines

1. size of the poster  3 X 4 ft (length X breadth)

2. The title of the study placed prominently at the top of the poster.

3. Presentation of content is based on IMRAD format

4. Place text, diagrams or charts legibly in a size sufficient to be read at a distance of 5 feet.

5. Highlight the authors/ co authors names and contact information
